Mr. Irvin served as lead counsel for the plaintiff in litigation in the U.S. District Court in Chicago that asserted claims seeking to set aside fraudulent transfers, and to pierce the corporate veil, against several companies and their principals. The matter was settled in the client’s favor following a settlement conference with the magistrate judge.

Mr. Irvin served as co-counsel for a physician terminated from a medical professional corporation in an action asserting wrongful termination, discrimination, corporate governance and fiduciary duty claims. Counsel negotiated a very favorable global settlement of all claims.

Mr. Irvin represented a Florida franchisee in litigation over early termination of a franchise agreement with its Indiana-based franchisor. After defeating the franchisor’s motion for summary judgment, Mr. Irvin negotiated a settlement of all claims at mediation.
